It is created by cooking the entire head of the pig and adding the tongue together with grappa, lemon and orange peel. The result is a peculiar salami, with a tender texture and a distinctive taste.
Serve it with warm rye bread, and it will melt in your mouth!
Once you receive the product, place it in the fridge.
To best enjoy the Affettati, we suggest to remove it from the fridge and keep it at room temperature at least 1 hour before eating it. Once opened, leave it there for about 10 min. By doing so the slices will come off easily and youβll fully enjoy its unique taste.
